Zinc-coated Steel Round Pipe

Galvanized steel pipe is the process of coating regular hot rolled steel with a zinc layer by dipping the shapes in a hot bath of pure zinc at nearly 860 degrees F. Once withdrawn from the tank the steel has metallurgical bond providing a tough and durable weather resistance layer of zinc carbonate which provides protection for up to 30 years.
